Technology Pioneers

We are the original inventors and pioneers of atomization and electrostatics. Our technology roots began in 1888, when Dr. Allen DeVilbiss invented the first atomizer used for healthcare applications and later used for commercial spray applications. Not too long thereafter, Harold Ransburg developed electrostatics in 1940, when he needed a more efficient and effective way to apply material on commercial products.

The scientific principle behind our advanced technology is our proprietary atomization, electrostatic and infrared heat processes. Atomization technology breaks product into droplets (as small as 15 microns and up to 60 microns) through the use of proprietary nozzle, airflow and fluid pressure methods which deposits a greater percentage of product to the intended surfaces and objects. Electrostatics is the process of applying an electrical charge to the liquid or powder, when sprayed, is pulled like a “magnet” towards the intended surface, completely and precisely “wrapping” it 360 degrees (front, back-side and hard to reach areas) without saturating, wasting or over spraying. Infrared heat transfers high intensity, short wave infrared heat directly to the product instantly without the need to heat up or cool down.

Our atomization, electrostatic and infrared heating technologies are the leading and most efficient and effective “sustainable” processes on the market today, transferring between 90-95% charge to the material or product, precisely depositing a higher percentage of product to the intended surface and delivering the right temperature at the right time, saving material, product, energy , time and labor.
